## Becoming a Marksman 

Becoming a marksman is a fairly straight forward process:\
First of all grab your desired license tier: Basic, Pro or Ultra.

## Installation

Unzip the files and get them ready.

For the platform to work at fast speeds you will need 2 things:&#x20;

* fast and reliable node
* good internet speed.

## Getting a fast node

Whenever you will want to interact with the blockchain, either a swap, a stake, a farm you will need a node. The nodes come in 2 forms : https\:// and wss\://. Binance offers the free <https://binance.darta.seed>. Our software uses wss\:// for faster polling times.

You are now in search of a node and you are greeted with 3 options:

1. Private node - your own rented server where you run your own node
2. Shared nodes - you rent a wss\:// from a 3rd party provider that is shared by 10-50 other users
3. Dedicated nodes - you rent your own wss\:// from a 3rd party provider but you are the only user
